Race Route Updates

Race Route Updates

Start/Finish moved to Freddie’s Roadhouse Mile 16 Oil Well Road

We are changing the course but are happy with the results. With the help of the Cabin Hoppers,SNOMADS, local mushers and our trail boss Jason Young we have a 100 mile loop that will be done twice. The start and finish will now be at Freddie’s Roadhouse in Ninilchik.

Mushers will now leave the stating line at noon on the 27th from Freddie’s, run 50 miles to McNeil Canyon School, run another 50 miles back to Freddie’s then do the loop again. Mushers do have mandatory 10 hours of rest.

Lots of opportunities to come out and see the teams at either location.
